Musical! A Month Late

Had a blast to the past in the school musical production 'Disco Inferno'. After 6 months of dancing and singing rehearsals (which all payed off) the end result was awesome! Kind of like racing with all the adrenaline pumping just before going out onto stage. Anyway, it was loads of fun and so many good memories and new friends that I've come away with. Thanks to everyone who got us to where we ended up.

Here are the only photos I can currently find, for those who weren't able to make it to the performance I will try and get a fair few more so you can see what you missed out on :)

The whole group just before warming up

Backstage... Everyone trying to work everything out

So I will stay true to my word this time and chase up some more photos ASAP!

  2. Hey Ryan!

Okay, so I commented on this post a few weeks ago, and in retrospect, I sounded awfully stupid. I wouldn't want a reintroduction a decade in the making to make me out looking like some desperado. So! Here's comment round number 2 on my part.

This is totally and completely out of the blue, and you may not remember me, but I used to be a really good friend of yours some 12 years ago!
I lived in Alice Springs with my parents and my older sister up until we moved to Texas in '97. I've been getting back to my roots in Alice for the better part of the last month, and while I was sifting through some old photo albums a few weeks ago, I saw a bunch of pictures of you, Alaina, my sister and I when we were still wee-little tots! Then I figured to myself, "What in the world ever happened to those kids??"
So! After a huge bout of internet sleuthing, I found you here, and it has seriously been the highlight of my year. I know it might seem a little weird to want to get back in touch after 12 years, but golly, I was just so excited to find you on here. If you have a Facebook or something, you need to shoot me a link, because you don't update enough on here, haha! :)

If you don't remember me and none of this makes sense to you, then ask your parents if they remember a Mike and Becky Smith and their 2 daughters from way back then. I know that I have an awfully generic name, but they might have some old pictures or something that can jog your memory!

Anyway, this comment is long and unorthodox, but geez, Louise! I'm so freaking excited to see that you're doing well, and I hope that your family is doing just as great!! Whenever you get on next, I hope we can catch up. My email should be posted on my profile, so just catch a hold of me through there!

PS: Check your blog more, you silly person!!! :)
